Erin Ann has spent over 15 years helping founders and product leaders bring bold digital ideas to life. As the Founder and Head of Design, UX & Brand at Tangerine Creative Agency, she merges creativity with strategy to craft user experiences that are as intuitive as they are impactful.
Her career began at the crossroads of marketing and design, where she discovered that true innovation comes from understanding people, not just pixels. “Design leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about asking better questions and inspiring the team to find meaningful ones together,” she reflects, quoting one of her favorite lines from Julie Zhuo’s The Making of a Manager.
That belief guides Erin’s approach at Tangerine Creative Agency, a studio built for ambitious founders and fast-moving teams. Her work helps transform underperforming products and early-stage MVPs into experiences users trust and love, always with a lean, human-centered process at the core.
One of her proudest collaborations has been with Intelity, a hospitality technology leader. Through design strategy and product storytelling, Erin helped elevate the company’s brand experience and product engagement, reinforcing her belief that design is both art and alignment, a bridge between vision and execution.
For Erin, being part of the International Association of Women represents an opportunity to connect and expand her horizon. “IAW brings together women who are not only leaders but also learners,” she shares. “It’s a space where you can grow through shared wisdom, support, and collaboration.”
When she’s not designing or mentoring teams, Erin finds joy in exploring creativity beyond the screen, from golf and Broadway shows to live concerts that remind her of the rhythm between structure and spontaneity. Recently, she’s been learning pickleball with her mom and fiance, a new shared hobby that keeps her grounded, laughing, and constantly learning.
Erin continues to champion design as a tool for empowerment and connection, one that brings clarity to complexity and meaning to every experience.
