Now, through Rhonda Marcus Coaching, she partners with executives and teams to develop values-driven leadership, strengthen communication, and foster trust-based cultures where individuals and organizations flourish together.
A Career Built on Action, Growth, and Impact
Rhonda’s journey into coaching was a natural evolution of her career.
She initially started as a life coach but soon realized that her true passion lay in working with high-achieving professionals—those who weren’t content with where they were and wanted to level up their careers and leadership impact.
“What excites me most is partnering with clients who are ready to take action,” she shares. “Not just talk about change, but truly make it happen. I help them step outside their comfort zones, get clear on where they are versus where they want to be, and move the needle forward.”
Rhonda’s work focuses on helping leaders define their core values, align their leadership style with those values, and build strong, agile teams that thrive on trust and collaboration.
The Challenges and Rewards of Executive Coaching
For Rhonda, the biggest challenge is that there’s so much she wants to do to help leaders grow and evolve, but she sometimes feels like she can’t move fast enough to bring all of her ideas to life.
However, the most rewarding part of her work makes every challenge worth it.
“When past clients come back and tell me how impactful our time together was—how it helped them, how it changed their careers—that means everything to me,” she says.
She works with professionals at every stage—from new managers learning how to lead teams to C-suite executives striving for their next level of success. Seeing her clients gain confidence, take action, and thrive in their careers is what fuels her passion.
“I absolutely love helping women level up, break barriers, and claim their space in leadership.”
Rhonda’s Advice for Women: Listen, Support, and Uplift Each Other
One of the most valuable lessons Rhonda has learned—and now shares with others—is the power of truly listening.
💡 “Be fully present when you listen. Ask yourself: Does this person need advice? A cheerleader? A mentor? When we approach others with curiosity, acceptance, and unconditional support, we create space for real connection.”
She believes that listening without judgment is one of the greatest ways we can support and uplift other women.
“True leadership isn’t just about what you say—it’s about how well you listen and how you show up for others.”
Big Goals for the Future
Rhonda has exciting plans on the horizon, including launching a proprietary coaching philosophy that she’s been developing.
“It’s a game-changer, and I can’t wait to introduce it to the IAW community,” she says. “I know it will have a powerful impact on leaders who are ready to take their careers and businesses to the next level.”
Her focus remains on helping ambitious professionals push past their limits and thrive in a fast-moving world.
A Pivotal Moment: Turning Adversity into Purpose
Rhonda’s life took a transformative turn when she became a breast cancer survivor while also navigating major family and career shifts.
“I had extensive global business experience, but when my kids were born and I faced serious health challenges, everything changed,” she shares.
Emerging from that period, she knew she wanted to make a meaningful impact—and coaching became the perfect path.
“Having spent my career in male-dominated industries without a mentor, I felt deeply passionate about giving back and helping other women rise. That’s why I pivoted my focus to high-achieving professionals who are ready to take the next step.”
Her work is now centered on helping ambitious professionals push past their limits, lead with authenticity, and thrive in today’s ever-changing world.
The Power of Community: How IAW Changed Everything for Rhonda
Reflecting on her experience with the International Association of Women (IAW), Rhonda feels deep gratitude for the connections and growth it has brought into her life.
💡 “IAW has truly changed my life. The support, encouragement, and friendships I’ve built here have been incredible. It has given me the confidence to step into my strengths and recognize the value of my work.”
She credits Marie Bartolotti for challenging her to believe in herself and see her coaching philosophy’s true impact.
“As women, we often let our inner critic overpower us, making us doubt our worth. But IAW has helped me quiet that noise and step into my purpose.”
Advice for New IAW Members: Step In and Take Action
Rhonda encourages new members to be proactive in getting involved with IAW.

Her personal motto?

It’s a philosophy she’s lived by in her career, and one she encourages other women to embrace as they navigate their own journeys.
