As the Founder of Devonshire: A Perfect Events Company, Karen wears many hats: visionary entrepreneur, event strategist, community advocate, and fintech leader. But at the core of everything she does is one simple goal: to create experiences people never forget.
From Cousin Coordinator to CEO
Karen’s journey began in the heart of a bustling, joy-filled family. As the second oldest of more than 100 first cousins, she naturally stepped into a leadership role—writing skits, directing performances, and keeping the younger kids entertained. What she didn’t realize at the time was that she was already cultivating the storytelling and production skills that would later define her career.
Years later, she helped manage events for her family’s catering business, then became the go-to event planner at work. From themed office days to transforming her own living room into a movie theater or pub, Karen has always been curating memorable experiences.
In 2018, she officially launched Devonshire, and what started as a passion became a business—and a calling.
“My daughter once told me, ‘Mommy, we have fun wherever we go.’ That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just something I liked to do—it’s something I was meant to do.”

“I’ve been told from the beginning that Devonshire would go global. Now, I finally believe it—and I’m building it.”
