Amber DiGiovanni: Turning Trauma Into Triumph—For Humans, Dogs, and Everyone in Between

Some leaders teach from knowledge.
Amber DiGiovanni teaches from truth.

As the CEO of The Wonder Dog LLC, motivational speaker, executive chef, philanthropist, and international author, Amber has mastered the art of transforming pain into purpose—and purpose into impact. Her work sits at the intersection of personal healing, canine nutrition, and soulful connection. Through her signature keynotes and her beloved brand Dining With the Dog-Ma!, Amber invites audiences into a world where resilience is real, healing is possible, and joy is absolutely worth fighting for.

Amber’s message is simple but powerful:
You can rise. You can heal. And sometimes, your greatest teacher walks on four legs.

Finding Purpose Beyond the Corporate World

For years, Amber worked in a corporate environment that dimmed her spirit. She excelled—but she wasn’t fulfilled. Deep down, she knew she was meant for something more expansive, more soulful, more alive.

So she did the bravest thing a woman can do:
She walked away.

“Dining With the Dog-Ma!” was born from that leap of faith—a joyful fusion of canine nutrition, storytelling, and heart-centered healing. Her keynote Become Your Dog’s Best Friend, Both in the Kitchen and Beyond the Bowl quickly gained traction, inspiring dog parents everywhere to nurture deeper, healthier bonds with their pets.

Then came her second keynote, Into the Light, a powerful and vulnerable journey into her own childhood trauma and the healing that followed. Through that message, Amber helps audiences understand that trauma does not define them—it refines them.

Healing Humans and Dogs—Together

Amber does more than speak—she holds space.
She listens. She feels. She leads.

And in doing so, she helps others find the courage to reconnect with themselves.

The hardest part of her work is revisiting her own wounds while guiding others through theirs. But the reward makes every step worth it. Amber has witnessed dogs and their humans heal together, rebuild trust, and rediscover connection in ways that feel nothing short of miraculous.

As she says,
“Transformation happens right in front of me—and that’s why I took that leap of faith.”

Amber’s passion for dogs also shows up through her advocacy for canine nutrition and her mission to help pets live longer, healthier lives. Through education, customized recipes, and her power of the paw philosophy, she is transforming not only human lives, but canine lives as well.

Words for Women Walking Their Own Healing Journey

Amber’s advice to women is raw, honest, and full of fire:

“Stop waiting for permission to shine.”

She believes deeply that purpose often sprouts from pain—and that the cracks in our stories are where the light breaks through.

“Healing isn’t linear,” she says. “Trust that everything you’ve walked through is shaping you into the woman you were always meant to become.”

And in true Amber humor and sparkle, she adds with a smile:

“Get it, girl. You’re not regular glue—you’re glitter glue.”

Dreams That Reach Beyond the Stage

Amber is just getting started.

Her future goals include expanding her reach as a keynote speaker and author, growing the Canine Hero Fund to support search-and-rescue dogs, and continuing to advocate for the healing power that exists between humans and their four-legged companions.

Her vision is both simple and profound:
To help people find hope, healing, and light—no matter how dark their beginnings.

The Power of New Beginnings with IAW

Though new to the International Association of Women, Amber already feels the potential of the community behind her.

Meetings with her Influencer Experience Manager have been instrumental in helping her unlock what’s possible inside IAW. She knows she’s only scratched the surface—and she’s eager to dive deeper.

Her advice for new members?

“Dig in.”
Because community is only powerful when you choose to participate in it.

A Life Built on Courage, Connection, and Stories That Heal

While many people point to one pivotal moment or mentor, Amber’s story is different. Her direction wasn’t shaped by one person—it was shaped by every moment. Every experience, every hurt, every healing, every dog who crossed her path.

She doesn’t just speak to inspire.
She speaks to set people free.

Amber DiGiovanni is living proof that the human spirit—and the canine one—can overcome almost anything with enough love, courage, and connection.
