For nearly three decades, Dr. Denise Moore Revel has built a remarkable career at the intersection of communication, leadership, and personal transformation. What began as a life devoted to helping others find their voice—as a board-certified speech-language pathologist and longtime educator—has evolved into a movement: a global call for high-achieving women to restore their well-being, reclaim their power, and rise into sustainable leadership.
As the Founder and CEO of the Own Your Amazing Movement™, Dr. Denise is redefining what it means to lead. Her proprietary Restoration Leadership Framework™ empowers women to prioritize wellness, strengthen emotional resilience, and step confidently into lives aligned with purpose—not pressure.
But her journey to this work didn’t begin in a classroom or a boardroom.
It began in burnout.
When the Break Becomes the Breakthrough
After decades of serving others—patients, students, leaders, and teams—Dr. Denise reached her own breaking point. She had poured herself into excellence, achievement, and service, until the pace was no longer sustainable.
That burnout became her awakening.
She realized she wasn’t alone—countless brilliant women were silently struggling with the weight of success. And she knew something had to change—not only for herself, but for every woman who had been conditioned to believe that sacrifice was the price of leadership.
From that moment, Own Your Amazing™ was born. Her mission:
To help women restore what they’ve lost, reclaim who they are, and rise into the fullness of their purpose.
The Work: Where Leadership Meets Restoration
Today, Dr. Denise’s expertise spans transformational leadership coaching, burnout prevention and recovery, emotional intelligence, multicultural counseling, and the science of communication.
She teaches women leaders that:
- Well-being is not optional.
- Restoration is strategy.
- Purpose and power must coexist.
Her wellness retreats, workshops, and leadership intensives help women step away from survival mode and step back into themselves—stronger, clearer, and more aligned.
The most challenging part of her work:
Convincing women that caring for themselves is not selfish—it’s leadership.
The most rewarding:
Watching women reclaim their lives, their joy, and their strength.
Those moments—when the light returns—are why Dr. Denise does what she does.
Advice from a Thought Leader: Own Your Amazing
When asked what she wants every woman to know, Dr. Denise doesn’t hesitate:
“Your well-being is not negotiable. Own Your Amazing because you deserve to live the life you design—with power and purpose.”
Her message goes far beyond motivation.
It’s a call to action.
- Stop waiting for a crisis to prioritize yourself.
- Stop shrinking to fit expectations that were never meant for you.
- Stop believing success requires self-sacrifice.
Restoration is not a luxury—it’s the foundation of sustainable success.
