IAW: What three words would you choose to best describe yourself?
Dr. Conway: Motivated. Passionate. Caring.
IAW: What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Dr. Conway: Never settle for what others want to give you, but to always value myself, believe in myself and aspire to always be a better version of me. In the words of Dr. Myle Munroe, I would tell say to remember that I am priceless commodity whose gifts the world is waiting to receive.
IAW: If you were to be President of The United States for a day. What’s the first thing you do?
Dr. Conway: The first thing I would do is create a bill for Universal Healthcare. I do not believe that any human being should ever have to decide if they will eat first or buy their medications because of cost, accessibility, socioeconomic status, ethnicity or geography. No one would ever have to fear losing treatment options, being accepted by a provider or wondering if they can receive just routine care.
IAW: In your professional career, what achievement are you most proud of?
Dr. Conway: The privilege to educate, empower and mentor future leaders, educators and healthcare providers. As an educator I have the awesome privilege to share my expertise, knowledge and wisdom with others endeavoring to improve themselves professionally and personally. I love giving back and seeing others succeed and fulfill their life’s purpose.
IAW: How do you relax when not working?
Dr. Conway: I love being with my husband and my children when I am not working. They are my everything!
