Sarkioglu: Purposeful Passionate Loyal

IAW: What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Sarkioglu: Life is a journey. Take time to appreciate every moment, even the small ones. There is no need to rush to the finish line.

IAW: If you were to be President of the United States for a day, what’s the first thing you would do?

Sarkioglu: I would invite select members of the military of every rank to the White House to thank them personally for giving the ultimate sacrifice every day to keep us safe and to preserve our freedoms.

IAW: In your professional career, of what achievement are you most proud?

Sarkioglu: Achieving the position of Vice President in my former company. It was not something I aspired to early in my career, but somewhere along the way, I found myself climbing the corporate ladder and becoming passionately committed to my career. As a VP, I was able to affect change and have a leadership role in the evolution of the company.

IAW: How do you relax when not working?

Sarkioglu: Read a good book; non-fiction, mostly crime series. I become so involved in the plot that I forget everything else that is going on around me.
