After experiencing the bitter divorce between her parents and a divorce of her own, TrevisMichelle wanted to support others navigating the same challenges. She became a divorce strategist during the pandemic after contributing to an anthology titled “Saving Lives While Fighting for Mine.”

“I shared my story of going through my divorce and gave tips for surviving it. It reminded me of my passion for speaking and my goal to help men and women navigate divorce. At the age of nine years old I experienced my first divorce, my parents divorced, and I made a conscious decision at that time to help men and women get through divorce and still make their children feel loved and a priority.”

TrevisMichelle offers a three-day live divorce boot camp to provide women with the necessary tools and guidance to build resilience, empowerment, and confidence during the divorce process. She’s been in their shoes and knows the difficulties of vetting an attorney, the financial burden, balancing child care while ensuring they know they are loved, and maintaining mental health. The boot camp includes access to a private Facebook group where participants build a community and can discuss budgeting, effective communication strategies, questions to vet attorneys, co-parenting skills, and healing during the divorce.

Outside her work as a divorce strategist, TrevisMichelle is an award-winning speaker, bestselling author, podcast host, cervical cancer conqueror and advocate, and certified mental health coach. She is dedicated to equipping women with the tools to overcome challenges with grace, resilience, and confidence. TrevisMichelle is also a reforming people pleaser who worked to make herself a priority to become the best version of herself.

TrevisMichelle proves that by making yourself a priority, others around you benefit. “It is not selfish to value YOU! Let’s add another definition to the word selfish,” she said. “When you prioritize yourself, you give yourself permission to heal, grow, and make choices that are good for you. When you are giving YOU love, encouragement, and time to heal, others around you also benefit.”

Included in her healing journey was the support from the International Association of Women (IAW). As she fought cervical cancer, IAW team members continued to reach out and check in. “IAW means a lot to me because it keeps at the forefront that I matter (mind, body & soul),” she said. “It is so important to build these relationships and collaborate. We do not have to walk this journey alone.”
