Her journey into entrepreneurship wasn’t easy—it was born out of loss, exhaustion, and a deep realization that her worth couldn’t be defined by a workplace that didn’t value her humanity.
“In 2020, my brother passed away unexpectedly,” Tiara shares. “When I told my job I couldn’t come in because we had to take him off life support, they asked if I’d be back the next day. That moment hit me hard. I realized then that sometimes jobs only care about having a warm body. They don’t truly care about you.”
That painful moment became a turning point—one that would inspire her to walk away from traditional healthcare and pour everything into creating a business that honored compassion, balance, and authentic wellness.
Building a Business Rooted in Care
After years of working in healthcare—often putting the needs of others above her own—Tiara knew she wanted to build something different. Vista Vie Wellness & Spa became her way of redefining care: creating a space where people are treated as whole beings, not just patients or clients.
Through wellness services, holistic therapies, and a culture of genuine empathy, Tiara has built a space that reflects her core values—peace, healing, and empowerment.
“The most rewarding part of my work is knowing I’ve created something meaningful,” she says. “At Vista Vie, people are cared for as human beings. That’s what fills me up.”
Her business allows her to give the kind of care she always believed in—care that sees the person first.
The Lesson of Putting Yourself First
As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, Tiara knows what it’s like to constantly pour into others. But one of the most transformative lessons she’s learned is the importance of self-prioritization.
“I tell women all the time—don’t be afraid to get a therapist,” she says. “Mine gives me little ‘homework’ assignments that help me reflect on what really makes me happy and whether my work is building me up or draining me. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that it’s okay to be a little selfish. Sometimes choosing yourself is exactly what you need.”
That philosophy is woven throughout Tiara’s business and life: wellness starts with honoring yourself first.
Redefining Success
Today, Tiara is focused on reclaiming her time and joy—two things she had long given away in the name of responsibility. Her goal isn’t retirement in the traditional sense—it’s freedom.
“I want to retire myself into a life I truly love again,” she explains. “When I was an RN, my shift ended when work ended. I could sit in the yard, drink coffee, and feel content. I want that feeling back.”
To get there, Tiara is intentionally building a strong, independent team so her business can thrive without her needing to be present every day.
“For me, success means freedom—the freedom to choose my days,” she says. “If I want to stay in bed and binge-watch Netflix, I’ll do it guilt-free. I’ve earned that.”
Grounded, Grateful, and Growing
Tiara’s wisdom comes from lived experience—loss, resilience, and renewal. Through it all, she’s learned that healing isn’t a destination—it’s a choice you make every day.
That’s also what she finds in IAW. “IAW has shown me that I don’t have to carry everything alone,” she says. “It’s not just a network—it’s a community of women who understand the weight of leadership and the importance of creating a legacy that lasts.”
Her advice to women building their businesses is as honest as it is practical:
“Don’t measure your success against what you see on social media. Focus on what really matters—research your industry, build strong systems, and protect your time. The real reward comes from doing the work and creating something that lasts.”
