Chapter Spotlight: Jill Windelspecht, Cleveland Chapter

In her role as President of the Cleveland Chapter, Jill Windelspecht continues her mission of helping other women become successful

Leading the Way

Helping others reach their full potential is my passion and that is all about leadership—leading yourself, leading others or leading your organization. When I started my own coaching and consulting business, Talent Specialists Consulting LLC, I wanted to not only help leaders in organizations, I wanted to help women grow in their careers and be successful.

Two years ago, I took on the leadership role of President of the Cleveland Chapter because I saw this as a way to help promote my core beliefs and serve others.

Feeling the Rewards

We had a Vision Board event at our end-of-the-year Chapter meeting and I have heard many of the members who attended that event say it has helped them focus on their goals and keeps them motivated to work towards what really matters. Knowing that the Chapter leadership team and I are helping others grow intentionally and personally is really satisfying.

Our Chapter events for the remainder of the year will focus on a number of relevant topics, including growing your business or starting a side hustle; improving your personal productivity through neuroscience; healthy minds and body for life and; managing conflict through mindfulness.

At our next meeting, we’ll have the Director of the Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio speak about resources available to women for developing, funding and launching a business. We are also currently making plans to focus on community work by partnering with other women’s groups to make an impact on the Cleveland area.

Celebrating a 20-Year Career

I have spent over 20 years coaching and developing leaders around the world inside fortune 500 organizations. I love to serve others and see them grow to their full potential. I have had some amazing mentors and leaders who have encouraged me to do things I didn’t know I could do. They allowed me to make mistakes and encouraged my own personal and professional development and I want to do that for others.

My skills all revolve around helping people develop the right mindset, skillset and action set to achieve their goals. I leverage neuroscience and emotional intelligence to help them make better decisions, manage change and achieve results that move them toward their own personal vision. This is done through helping them get clarity around what is important for them and how to continue to grow in all areas of their life. When you get clarity around who you are and what you want to do, decisions are easier to make, others see the authentic you and you are able to focus on what are the most important things for you and your organization.

Following a Dream I had a dream about 10 years ago that I would have my own business coaching and consulting, working with leaders to make a difference and that has come true. I have had my own business for almost three years.

As President of Talent Specialists Consulting LLC, my focus is all about helping leaders—leading themselves, leading others and/or leading their organizations to reach their full potential. I focus on leaders because I know that when they can inspire and motivate their teams they can create better lives for their employees and create profitable businesses.

I am a skilled facilitator and leadership trainer and as a member of the John Maxwell team, I help leaders and their teams grow and create organizational climates that result in prosperity. As a speaker, I motivate others to effectively grow themselves and their business by understanding the power of their mindset, skillset and action set.

My role as Cleveland Chapter President has helped me gain access to other leaders in the community who are interested in supporting women. It has also helped me grow my personal network with other amazing women in the community.

Future Goals

My purpose is to help leaders unlock their full potential, the potential of their teams and create organizational climates that promote engagement and financial prosperity through my coaching, consulting, speaking and leveraging the Predictive Index tools to optimize talent. To achieve that, I will grow my speaking business and offer programs that can be brought to people globally to help them grow personally and professionally. Rose Tremain said, “Life is not a dress rehearsal.” We have to be intentional about where we are going; I want to help people apply this to their lives so they can improve their lives and serve others.

One of my favorite quotes from Peace Pilgrim is: “If you knew how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.”
