What is Bon Femmes?
Bon Femmes is a black woman-owned business that highlights and represents female artists severely underrepresented in the art world. It began with a blog called Style & Forks in 2015 written by Omotola. Her interest in fashion and art soon transformed into interviews with women artists where she learned how underrepresented they were in the art industry.
While the blog no longer exists, Omotola used her passion to form Bon Femmes as a place to showcase women art, home decor, beauty products, and more. Part of the proceeds is also donated to women led charities dedicated to helping communities. She hopes to continue giving back to the creative community in the future by collaborating with artists and improving the eco-friendly packaging.
