Qeshawnda Ida Haynes thrives at the intersection between technology and creativity as the Founder and Director of Media Communications at IQueue Media™. While she always had a passion for the art of storytelling, Q. wanted to use her skills of copywriting and copy editing to help others.
“I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with passionate entrepreneurs, innovative startups, and established brands, helping them refine their messaging, develop their brand voice, and craft persuasive content that connects with their target audience. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness their success and be a part of their journey,” she said.
Her business, IQueue Media™, also supports clients by providing a media kit, copywriting, copy editing, and press release copy. Plus, they feature and provide advertising placement in QUEUE Magazine. One of the most rewarding aspects of working with clients is when she can see the positive impact words can have on a business’s growth.
“One particular example that stands out is when I collaborated with a local non-profit organization. Through compelling copy and a well-crafted media kit, we were able to amplify their message, raise awareness, and significantly increase their donations. Knowing that my words played a part in making a difference in my community is incredibly rewarding,” she explained.
Q. hopes to grow IQueue Media™ nationally, bring employment opportunities to her community, and start a non-profit that promotes literacy within the next five years. Plus, from her years of experience, she offers this piece of advice to other women entrepreneurs:
My advice to other women is to embrace their unique strengths and voices. Always keep in mind how powerful your words are, and use them wisely. Furthermore, I believe in the importance of collaboration and lifting each other up. By fostering a community of support, we can overcome barriers and accomplish great things together. Stay true to your passions, keep honing your craft, and use your platform to make a difference.”
Outside of her work with clients, Q. is dedicated to her own growth as an entrepreneur through her membership with the International Association of Women. “Essentially, although I am in business for myself with IAW, I’m not in business by myself,” she said. “IAW, to me, represents a platform that recognizes and celebrates the achievements of women. It is a space where we can uplift, inspire, and empower one another. Through IAW, I have not only received professional support but also personal encouragement from phenomenal women. It has instilled in me a sense of confidence, reminding me of the incredible potential that women possess. I am honored to be part of the IAW community, and if you are not a member, please consider becoming one.”
“Together with you, IAW, IQueue Media™, and QUEUE Magazine we will keep Inspiring Dynamic Authenticity!”
